About
Avoid Red Arrows is a collective for type design matters. It was founded in 2008 by Marko Grewe, Stefanie Miller, Simon Roth and Peter Stahmer who met during their studies at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design.
The collective uses typography as a medium to communicate, constantly exploring new aesthetic ways for this communication with type in their projects. Avoid Red Arrows publishes fonts developed by designers for different purposes.
Avoid Red Arrows is initiating and producing independent projects but the collective is also interested in commissioned work and consulting.

General terms and conditions
Preface
Avoid Red Arrows ist publishing fonts made by designers all over the world. The most important thing for us is to satisfy both, the customer and the designer. We ensure this by a fast and comfortable trade and strict licensing conditions. But in case modifications of the contract or the font file are needed we try to come to an agreement. So we moderate requests and requirements for the sake of the best solution. But please read the conditions carefully, by downloading a font file in our shop the customer accepts these terms and the licensing conditions.
Any copyrights to the fonts distributed under Avoid Red Arrows are intellectual property of Avoid Red Arrows and the particular designers and are subject to the German Copyright Act (Urheberrechtsgesetz) and international agreements on copyrights. Avoid Red Arrows reserves any rights not granted expressly under these terms or Avoid Red Arrows licensing conditions.
1. Validity
Changes in these terms will be sent to all customers. In case the customer does not disagree within 14 days the new terms will be seen as accepted.
2. Conclusion of a contract
Orders can only be done online. Agreements differing in price and licensing conditions have to be done in written form. We disclaim liability for errors occurring in the purchase process.
The contract is done at the moment the money is transferred to Avoid Red Arrows. Furthermore Sec. 454 and sec. 455 BGB (German Civil Code) shall not apply. Generally trying out the font software is excluded, please contact us in case you have a good reason to convince us.
3. Prices and payment
Prices and conditions underlie our price list and product information valid by the time of our acceptance of your order. The prices are gross prices, shipment and expenses will be paid by the customer. Payments can be made in cash (in advance or on delivery), by bank transfer or by PayPal. Payments are due not later than 14 days after date of invoice. You are not entitled to take off cash discounts or rebates.
In case of payment from abroad the customer has to pay all costs caused by the payment.
The license does not become effective until all payments are executed.
4. Delivery
We commit to send the font software as soon as possible to the customer. In case we are not able to send you the product of your choice we will inform you expressly as soon as possible after receiving your order. In case we are in delay for more than 14 days you are entitled to cancel the order at our costs.
4.1. International Shipping
Shipping of nondownload products is only possible in the following countries: Belgium, Denmark (excluding Greenland and Faroe Islands), Estonia, Finland (excluding Åland), France (excluding overseas territories), the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (excluding overseas territories), Ireland, Italy (except Livigno, Vatican City, San Marino), Latvia, Liechtenstein , Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands (excluding overseas territories), Austria, Poland, Portugal (except Azores, Madeira), Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (except Ceuta, El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, Lanzarote , La Palma, Melilla, Tenerife), Czech Republic, Hungary
5. Return
You are entitled to return a product according to applicable legal provisions. Any declarations herewith have to be made in written form by registered letter with receipt.
6. License Conditions
For the use and possession of Avoid Red Arrows products the licensing conditions apply.
7. Obligation of secrecy
Avoid Red Arrows will handle your data confidentially according to the German data protection law. We assure you to save your data as far as it is necessary for the implentation of the contract.
Unless you contradict we will send you information about new projects and fonts to your e-Mail address.
8. Address for service
Place of performance for all of our duties under a contract is Hamburg/Germany. For all controversies under a specific contract the jurisdiction of the District Court Hamburg (Landgericht Hamburg) is the legal venue. We reserve the right to raise action at your main seat. Every contract concluded under these terms and conditions shall be constructed according to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany excluding the Convention on the International Sales of Goods (CISG).
